Patient Bill of Rights
Last Updated: June 15, 2026
Your Rights as a Patient
Every patient receiving care facilitated through the PrescrYbe platform has the right to:
Respectful care. Be treated with dignity, courtesy, and respect, without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or source of payment.
Know who is treating you. Know the name, credentials, and licensure of the licensed clinician reviewing your intake or providing your care, and to confirm this information at any time by contacting patient support.
Participate in decisions. Receive clear information about your evaluation and any recommended treatment — including its risks, benefits, and alternatives — and participate in decisions about your care.
Independent clinical judgment. Receive care determined solely by the independent professional judgment of a licensed clinician, free from commercial influence. A prescription is never guaranteed.
Refuse treatment. Decline any recommended treatment and withdraw consent to care at any time, to the extent permitted by law, and be informed of the potential consequences of doing so.
Privacy and confidentiality. Have your health information handled confidentially and in accordance with HIPAA and applicable state law, as described in the clinical partners' Notice of Privacy Practices and our Privacy Policy.
Access your records. Request and receive copies of your medical records from the clinical partner that holds them, consistent with applicable law.
Transparent pricing. Know the full cost of your program before you pay, with no hidden fees, and understand our refund policy — including that you receive a full refund if a provider determines you do not qualify for treatment.
Continuity of support. Contact patient support with questions about your program, medication logistics, billing, or how to reach a licensed clinician for clinical questions.
Voice concerns. Raise complaints or grievances about your experience without fear of retaliation, and receive a timely response.
Emergency guidance. Be clearly informed that this platform is not for emergencies — if you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
